Valley Invicta Academies Trust requires a Teaching Assistant to support in the Specialist Resource Provision at our primary school at Leybourne Chase.

37 hours per week for 38 weeks per year, £15,626 pro rata to £18,809, within the grade VIAT 3.

We are currently recruiting for experienced and professional Teaching Assistant to work in our Specialist Resourced Provisions within our recently built primary school at Leybourne Chase.

You will work closely with the teacher of the high needs provisions to support children on a 1:1 and small group basis both within the Specialist Resourced Provision and also in the mainstream classes, as part of their individualised inclusion plan. The pupils that you will be supporting will all have an Education, Health and Care Plan for ASD needs.

The ideal candidate will be hard-working, flexible and adaptable, and will have a calm and positive approach to working with children with high levels of complex needs. Previous experience of working as anproviding teaching assistance within a school, working with children with SEMH and/ or ASD and have the ability to work independently and use your own initiative is also vital.

You will also work very closely with staff at the other High Needs Provisions in the other primary schools, as well as with teaching staff in all of the schools and the Trust Director of SEN.
