We are looking for an enthusiastic, capable and proactive Assistant Site Manager to join our Sites Team. 

Duties will include ensuring health and safety standards for the site, general maintenance of the building and grounds, project management of specific work involving liaising with contractors, first aid, general security and some cleaning. There may be some unsocial hours.

The successful candidate is likely to have had previous experience of premises and general maintenance, should be physically fit, enjoy working as part of a team in a school setting and be confident in communicating face to face, by telephone and by e -mail. They will need to be able to prioritise duties, which may involve working under their own initiative and also independently. They will also be part of the out of hours call out team.

This is a permanent contract, 37 hours per week, 9:30am to 6pm Monday to Thursday, 9:30am to 5:30pm Friday, all year round with 25 days holiday.

As part of Thanet Endeavour Learning Trust we work in very close partnership with St Mildred’s Infant School with whom we are federated, and with Garlinge and Parkside Primary Schools. We share our Executive Headteacher with Garlinge, St Mildred’s and Parkside Schools.
