We are looking to appoint a Learning Mentor to increase the support that we provide for our children.

We curently have one Learning Mentor and one Pastoral Mentor who provide proactive and reactive support to our children across the school. We are expanding this team by adding another Learning Mentor.

Our successful candidate will be caring and empathetic, but also firm and fair, with clear expectations.  You will be passionate and want to make a difference to our children’s lives.

The Learning Mentor will work with children across the school, providing:

  • Check-ins with identified pupils and those that need it at that time
  • Support for some of our children with their levels of engagement to improve their learning
  • Mentoring
  • Lunch time provision
  • A point of contact for identified families
  • Working with the class staff and inclusion team to support our children in their learning

This is a permanent role and is 35 hours per week, to include a daily lunchtime duty. The hours are: 

Monday - Friday 8:30 – 4:00
