Exciting Career Opportunity

We are looking to appoint a highly efficient, friendly and reliable teaching assistant for a fixed term until end of August 2022. 

Are you interested in making a difference to children’s outcomes?

You will have:

  • A Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent,
  • Experience of supporting pupils in schools;
  • Good understanding of Literacy, Numeracy and ICT;
  • GCSE English and Maths C or equivalent;
  • A calm and flexible approach;
  • Good understanding of school policies and procedures relating to health & safety, behaviour, attendance, equal opportunities and child protection.

A knowledge of supporting pupils with diagnosed SEN would be desireable but not essential.

The successful applicant will be required to work 32.5 work hours per week term time only, Monday – Friday, 8.30 – 3.30pm.

Set in the Kent countryside, between Ashford and Lenham, Egerton Church of England Primary School is a one form entry primary school with 180 children on roll. Naturally the children are our greatest asset and the school plays a central part in the village community.

We are a voluntary controlled Church of England school, committed to providing the highest quality education for all pupils in an atmosphere where our Christian faith is evident in all we teach and do together. Our aim is to create a community where our core values of perseverance, compassion, respect, forgiveness, honesty and hope are always present.
