We are looking for a teacher for a very small class of year R/1 children ( 9 pupils). The class have use of a double classroom and an outside area. Platts Heath is a small school with three mixed age classes and is part of the Aspire federation. This position would be suitable for a teacher at the begiining of their career or those with slightly more experience.  An interest or specialism in PE would be an advanatge as we also have a vacancy for PE subject leader across the Aspire Federation. This vacancy has come about due to very sad circumstances so the position is available immediately, but we would be willing to wait until January for the right candidiate. The class will need nurturing and so some knowledge of well being and mindfulness strategies would be ideal.

The ASPIRE Federation is a partnership of four small village primary schools in rural Kent, near the county town of Maidstone Two schools are Church of England primary schools and two are community primary schools. The ASPIRE mission statement is:
