Are you a fun, energetic and enthusiastic person who enjoys working with children?  If so, we need you to come and join our equally enthusiastic team at Schools Out! – our after-school provision

We are looking for a person who can engage with children in a fun way and encourage them to try new activities and make new friends.  An additional element to the role will be undertaking the medical care for a delightful young girl who has type 1 diabetes.  The condition is completely controlled and regulated by a pump.  Full training will be provided by the Diabetic Nurse and staff currently undertaking the role.

The hours of work will be:

Monday – Friday, 3pm – 6pm (15 hrs pw), 38 weeks per year (term time only).

The idea candidate will have experience of working in a school or nursery setting. The ability to engage with children in a fun way, whilst promoting learning opportunities is essential.

At our Schools Out! provision, the children enjoy a range of indoor and outdoor activities, behave impeccably and interact positively with adults and each other.

Valley Invicta Primary School at East Borough is a two-form entry school for children aged 4 to 11, with a Specialist Resource Provision, in the heart of the local community.

The school’s spacious facilities sit in a large outdoor space, with a forest school, and well-equipped sports and play areas. There are many extra-curricular activities on offer and bespoke spaces for music and ICT.
