RECEPTIONIST: WILMINGTON GRAMMAR SCHOOL FOR BOYS

 

37 hours per week.  Working hours will be Monday - Tuesday 8.00am – 4:30pm and Wednesday – Friday 8.00am – 15:30pm.

Ideally we would like to this to be a full time, all year round position, but for the right candidate Term Time (39 weeks) plus 4 additional weeks may be possible.

Salary for a full-time position starts at £18,334, which is Grade 3 point 10 on the Endeavour MAT payscale.

Endeavour MAT icurrently comprises Wilmington Grammar School for Boys (WGSB), Wilmington Grammar School for Girls (WGSG), and Stone Lodge School in Dartford

Wilmington Grammar School for Boys is an 11-18 year old selective boys’ Grammar School, with a co-educational sixth form, run jointly with Wilmington Grammar School for Girls. The school is popular and regularly oversubscribed.

We are seeking to appoint a Receptionist to provide a first-class front of house service in this busy school. Duties will include taking all telephone calls to the school's main line and recording messages where appropriate, dealing with enquiries at the school's reception desk, answering email enquiries and supporting the wider office team.  The successful candidate will also provide dedicated administrative support to our PE department to co-ordinate and arrange their busy programme of fixtures and events.

The successful candidate will:

  • have experience of reception duties, preferably within an education setting
  • have the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
  • have excellent communication and administrative skills
  • be proficient in the use of IT with a good working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel.
