We would like to recruit dynamic teaching assistants to join our happy, friendly and dedicated team in Folkestone. You will need to be highly motivated and committed to promoting aspiration and celebrating achievements, making a true difference and improving our children's life chances. You will be supported by a Phase Leader and other support staff within your phase. A minimum NVQ level 2 in a relevant programme of study would be an advantage.

The ideal candidate will be able to think on their feet; working both independently and as part of the team, promote positive learning behaviours and effectively plan and assess. Furthermore, they will be part of our commitment to ensuring that learning progress, for all children, meets and surpasses expectations.

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates to join a school at a creative and forward thinking time in its development and become fully involved in supporting learning and whole class teaching.

We are looking for someone who is confident in their ability to deliver learning and have impact on all pupils. We want you to make a real difference.

Working hours will be 8.30am- 3.15pm Term time only (31.25 hours a week), with a 30 minute lunch break and INSET Days.

• The ability to work across all classes would be advantageous

Candidates are encouraged book a tour of the school at either 9am or 3.30pm.

In order to help maintain Covid-19 safety and negative lateral flow test and facecovering are requested for tours.

Mundella Primary School is a forward thinking and child centered school situated in East Folkestone. The school is comprised of 7 classes and caters for up to 210 children in Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and 2.

The school has a happy and friendly atmosphere, with a very dedicated staff who are ambitious for all their pupils and the community they serve.
