The Island Learning Trust are looking for highly efficient, flexible, friendly and reliable Teaching Assistants to compliment their wonderful team! The hours vary according to the school you will be working in and are term-time only.

We are looking for outstanding Teaching Assistants to assist and support our wonderful children. You will be a competent Teaching Assistant who preferably has relevant experience, however all candidates with suitable knowledge, competency and drive along with a strong desire to support our wonderful pupils will be considered. Experience of working with children however, is essential.

You will need to be energetic, supportive and a positive team player with a sense of humour and excellent communication skills. You will possess a genuine desire to help improve the learning outcomes of our children.

The Island Learning Trust are pleased to announce a new building project has started at Sunny Bank. This includes a well-resourced brand new nursery and 8 class block including Year R - just what our children, families and community need and deserve! Information about the trust

The Island Learning Trust was established on 1st November 2016. The MAT was comprised of Minster Primary and Halfway Houses Primary, both schools are on the Isle of Sheppey, an area of high deprivation and socio economic challenges. These two founding schools are both Ofsted rated good schools. The outcomes at Minster Primary are outstanding. Sunny Bank Primary School in Sittingbourne joined TILT in February 2020 under a sponsorship arrangement and significant all round improvement has been made with the support of the MAT.
