Sunny Bank Primary School are looking for highly efficient, flexible, friendly and reliable Teaching Assistants to compliment their wonderful team! These positions are for 30 hours per week, 38 weeks of the year (term-time only) to start as soon as possible. There are currently 4 positions available to provide additional support in Years 1, 2, 3 and 6.

We are looking for outstanding Teaching Assistants to assist and support our wonderful children. You will be a competent Teaching Assistant who preferably has relevant experience, however all candidates with suitable knowledge, competency and drive along with a strong desire to support our wonderful pupils, will be considered.

You will need to be energetic, supportive and a positive team player with a sense of humour and excellent communication skills and be willing to contribute to the rapid improvement of our lovely school.

The Island Learning Trust was established on 1st November 2016. The MAT was comprised of Minster Primary and Halfway Houses Primary, both schools are on the Isle of Sheppey, an area of high deprivation and socio economic challenges. These two founding schools are both Ofsted rated good schools. The outcomes at Minster Primary are outstanding. Sunny Bank Primary School in Sittingbourne joined TILT in February 2020 under a sponsorship arrangement and significant all round improvement has been made with the support of the MAT.
