Do you want to work as part of a wonderful, happy, inclusive and supportive team in an outstanding primary school? Are you a lifelong learner after a new challenge? Do you have the ability to nurture and develop children’s learning? At Reculver CE Primary, we never stand still and are always striving for excellence: as well as recently achieving an outstanding OFSTED report, we were the first school in the Diocese to achieve an excellent judgement in our SIAMs inspection. If you are a creative teacher, full of energy and enthusiasm with a passion to inspire children and adults to achieve outstanding results we want to hear from you.

As one of our teachers is going on her travels, moving to a new area of the country, we require a new teacher for the remainder of this academic year. We welcome applications from a dynamic, enthusiastic and committed teacher at whatever stage of their career who shares our ethos. The right person will have a desire to make a difference to our wonderful children and work well in a team, joining our forward thinking school to inspire and encourage our children in their learning and to help them reach their full potential.

We are a Church of England School and are proud of our distinctive Christian character. Successful applicants will be able to actively support and encourage this ethos. We are a fully inclusive school with a specialist resource base for children with visual impairment and cognition and learning difficulties. We are part of Aquila, a Multi Academy Trust of 14 primary schools.

We welcome applications from experienced teachers or ECTs. We have a supported mentoring system for new teachers both in school and as part of the Multi Academy Trust. The position would be a fixed term contract until the end of the academic year, pending future pupil numbers.

Visits to the school are strongly recommended. Please contact the school office (01227 375907) to make an appointment with the Executive Headteacher or the Head of School. Please see our school website and Facebook page for further information about the school.

Reculver CE Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

The successful candidate will be required to provide excellent references, other essential recruitment checks and to undertake an enhanced disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

We encourage early applications and we reserve the right to close this vacancy early if a suitable candidate is found.
