We have secured high needs funding for one pupils in the school a year 5 pupil with learning needs. She has no behaviour issues but needs the learning brought down to her level. The funding is secure for one academic yearbut is likely however to be extended beyond that. Platts Heath is a friendly small school within the ASPIRE federation. Being part of a federation means that professional development opportunities are wider and staff have the chance to work with a larger team.

The year 5 pupil has  learning needs and will need support in reading, writing and maths. They are also part of intervention programmes that will need to be delivered.

This is a part time role, which will consist of every morning from 8.30- 1.15, supporting the pupils both in the classroom and at lunch time.

Platts Heath is a small primary school with three mixed age classes. Please contact me at exechead@aspire-kent.org.uk, if you have any questions.
