Advert

We are looking for a Lead Practitioner of English for January 2022 and warmly welcome applications from experienced teachers who are passionate about English and are dedicated to enabling students to make excellent progress.

This is an exciting opportunity to be joining this creative and vibrant department, which consists of early years teachers, including Teach First, to some very experienced practitioners of English. The team pride themselves in using Philosophy for Children (P4C) to challenge learners to develop their thinking and communication skills. English is firmly placed as one of our leading departments for it's strong curriculum intent and implementation. You will be joining a department which is leading the way with teaching and learning.

It is a fantastic time to be joining the team. You would join a hardworking and passionate team of staff, in an academy characterised by high aspirations, academic excellence and exemplary behaviour, alongside an outstanding climate of care, encouragement and reward. Our parents are supportive and ambitious for their children, and our reputation in the local area has grown. The academy is an increasingly popular school in the rapidly growing Ebbsfleet Garden City community.

We want our students to leave school as well-rounded, confident young people, with an awareness of the wider world, and a desire and ambition to play an active part in it, all of which is encapsulated in The Ebbsfleet Academy’s motto – Be Ready, Work Hard, Be Nice!
