Advert

Wouldham All Saints School is looking to recruit new members to our child care team. This includes Breakfast Club, lunchtime care and after school club as well.

We are wanting excellent carers who will ensure a safe and happy experience for our children at these different times of the day.

A successful person may well cover all the different times but we are also happy to consider different people for different parts of the day.

Breakfast Club operates from 7:30am until 9am Monday to Friday and involves receiving children from parents, feeding them and entertaining them until classtime begins. The current vacancy will start at 8am each day.

Lunchtime care involves helping children through the lunchtime break, encouraging healthy eating and exercise as well as cleaning up after them! Activities need organising to keep the children happy and safe.

After school club runs from 3pm until 6pm and is about looking after children until collected by parents at the end of the day. Activities are organised to support learning in school and provide children with an enjoyable and safe extension to their school day. Children staying beyond 4:30pm are given opportunity to have a meal. Presently we require someone to serve until 4:30pm but willing to cover later if required.

Both Breakfast and After-school clubs involve serving food and so awareness of food hygiene and allergies is desirable - although training will be given.

The most essential quality needed to join our family is a keeness to care for children and help them be the best they can be!

It may be that you are interested in just one part of the job, eg breakfast, and we are prepared to consider different people for different parts of the role although we are equally keen to have one person who can manage all three parts. Please make sure you state which part or parts of the role you are wanting to do.
