The Davenport School is a small Primary Independent SEMH school within Ethelbert Childrens Services.  The school is based at Eastry, near Sandwich, in Kent.  The school has a maximum roll of 20 children across two classes.  There is a high ratio of Teacher / LSA ratio to help our children access education.We are currently recruiting for full-time Teacher to work with our KS1 and KS2 pupils.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the teaching and development of mixed age and ability pupils.  Our curriculum is flexible, and the teaching needs to be creative, and exciting, to engage and educate our children.


As an individual, the successful candidate needs to be resilient, energetic, and enthusiastic in creating a fun learning environment for our pupils to begin to enjoy school and education.

A good understanding of primary teaching, lesson planning, assessment and the primary national curriculum is essential for the post.

Full references, including an enhanced DBS, will be in place before commencing employment, with a proposed starting date of the 4th of January 2022.
