We require an two experienced Teaching Assistants to work 1:1 with a Year R and a Year 3, child to start as soon as possible.

Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday

This person will support a child with special educational needs, within a small group or individually. 

The successful applicant will need to have experience of working with children with complex needs. You need to be able to demonstrate a good understanding of how to support a child with these needs within the mainstream setting.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop further skills and expertise within this field of education. You will work as part of a very supportive team who have positive relationships with outside agencies. We are committed to the inclusion of all children within our care.

This is a temporary contract until July 2022 with the potential to be extended, dependent upon funding.

St. Paul’s Church of England (VC) Primary School, Swanley Village, has an enviable reputation as a welcoming, caring, high performing primary school. The school was graded Good by Ofsted in January 2020 and Good in its SIAMS inspection, 2019. We are part of The Compass Federation which includes St. Edmund's Church of England Primary School and Dunton Green Primary School.

The school is proud of its Christian heritage and seeks to entwine these values through everyday life. We have a good reputation for and offer pupils a range of sporting achievements, extra-curricular activities, including high quality instrumental tuition. We have a Professional Sports Coach that works with our pupils, mountain bikes and 2 tracks and we like to embrace as much of the real world as we can!

Demand for places far exceeds the number available. We have four mixed aged classes with 15 pupils in each year group.

Our children are delightful and we have very supportive and aspirational parents. The school is set in beautiful surroundings and has very well maintained and fully equipped buildings. We work in partnership with our families; we nurture self-belief and inspire a love of learning, encouraging all to become able and successful, through empowerment, and being responsible members of the community.
