Due to the recent expansion of the school, we are excited to share that we are seeking to employ a Wellbeing/Learning Mentor with effect from September 2021. This role will involve working with individual students or small groups of students who are experiencing difficulties at school and/or in their home life.

The successful candidate will develop strong positive and productive relationships with students to identify the root causes of any issues and work towards achievable goals to help build self-esteem, improve relationships and attainment, or engage in positive activities within the school or local community.  

Previous experience of working with children an advantage.  Applicants must have evidence of a high standard of literacy and numeracy (i.e. GCSE English and Maths Grade C/4 or above). Relevant mentoring/counselling qualifications are also desirable.

Hours are 32.5 per week.  8.30am – 3.30pm (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break daily) Monday to Friday, term time.   Further details are available to view on the job description below.
