We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, creative and inspiring Art teacher with energy, enthusiasm and a love of Art and Creative Design, who can bring their passion to the classroom and inspire young minds.  The position is full time and in addition to teaching the Art curriculum, you will be required to be flexible to teach an additional subject, negotiable according to your skillset.

You may have a particular expertise or specialism in one area but we are seeking someone who has the passion to be involved in our broader vision of our creative curriculum. The successful applicant will teach Art to including Arts Award at KS4 and support the development and delivery of Art across the school including the Primary Curriculum. You will have a strong subject knowledge and passion for all aspects of the visual and tactile arts - painting, photography, graphics, ceramics and design. You will need to have empathy and understanding for pupils with SEN and at times, challenging behaviour.

Through encouraging experimentation, creativity and exploration you will support, challenge and inspire our pupils, encouraging them to achieve the best they can through the promotion of outstanding teaching and learning. 

Bower Grove is a modern, well-equipped school providing a highly personalised and structured curriculum. We have 12 pupils in a class with three learning support assistants.
