Key Stage 2 Teacher - 3 days a week - Covering release time in a number of classes - Monday to Wednesday

Then we could be the school for you! West Borough Primary School is looking to appoint a qualified teacher from September 2021 to join our wonderful school. 

  • This position would suit a teacher with experience in Key Stage 2
  • We are offering for a part-time position, fixed term for 1 year
  • The successful candidate will work Monday to Wednesday, covering Leadership/ECT release time
  • The ability work on your own initiative with strong classroom management skills are essential

Information about the school

We are very proud of our wonderful school which was judged as good with outstanding features. Our most recent Ofsted inspection was in October 2022.

We have 16 classes including our maintained Nursery. A set of Core Values underpin all that we do which ensure high expectations of both learning and behaviour. They are 'Equality, Responsibility, Respect, Resilience and Challenge.' Our inclusive school is based on a large, well resourced site just outside Maidstone town centre. Our excellent facilities include a library, extensive outdoor learning areas and an ASD Satellite.

Our school has a happy and caring ethos and is is full of well motivated children, supported by a hardworking and fully committed team of staff and governors.
