Our latest OFSTED report says we are "A good School" and we are on our journey to Outstanding. We are looking to appoint a SENCO on a permanent basis to join our department and take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of provision made by the school for students with SEND. We are seeking a SENCO with experience of working closely with SEND students and who can provide professional guidance in the area of SEND in order to secure high quality teaching and the effective use of resources to bring about improved standards of achievement for all students. This role will also involve tracking, monitoring and providing interventions for all subgroups of students across the school. You will be dedicated to providing the best educational opportunities for the young people we serve. 

 

You will preferably have the National Award for SEN Co-Ordination or appropriate qualifications and experience. You will have excellent organisation skills and up to date knowledge of relevant legislation.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Recent, relevant teaching experience
