Are you looking for a job where no two days are the same? If so, the Trustees of Christ Church are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and well-motivated person for the post of Site Manager.

The successful applicant will possess a range of skills including caretaking, DIY, cleaning and gardening. You will be in charge of ensuring the school environment is maintained to a high standard and will aim to deliver a high quality of service. You will manage a team of two cleaners. Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations is essential and will form part of your responsibilities.

Personal qualities will include: versatility, tact, commitment and initiative. Previous experience of school caretaking would be an advantage. It is an essential part of your role to liaise with contractors, conduct risk assessments and adhere to health and safety regulations. Your hours of work would be 7.30am – 11am and 2pm - 6pm, Monday to Friday (finishing 5.30pm Fridays). From time to time you may be asked to vary your hours according to events in school. This may involve a late finish time. Cover of lettings may rarely be required, paid as overtime. (The School currently has no lettings). Your contract will be for 52 weeks per year. Salary range £19,723 to £20,893 depending on experience. 4 weeks paid holiday will be taken out of term time. 

The position is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Criminal Records Bureau.
