We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational HLTA to join the team in our 'Outstanding' school. Riverhead Infants' School is highly regarded and much respected in the local community. We offer a supportive environment and your career development will be encouraged. You will become an integral member of our team, providing cover to release teachers and lead small groups. You will be able to apply your professional judgement independently and be adaptable to the needs of the children and the school. You will be enthusiastic and keen to participate in all areas of school life. An HLTA qualification or equivalent is required, together with experience of working in both KS1 and Early Years.

The role is for 5 days per week, term-time only and is paid on the KR5 salary scale (Pro rata £13,402-£14,197)

Information about the school

Riverhead is a three form intake infant school on the outskirts of the town of Sevenoaks. Our eco-friendly sedum-roofed building is set in beautiful grounds enabling our pupils to enjoy their learning both indoors and out. We have received numerous awards for our excellent practice including the School Award for Resilience and Wellbeing and Platinum Award for our OPAL. Our school is over-subscribed and well supported by parents and the local community.
