St. Andrew’s School has the following vacancy to start ASAP

Maternity Cover Pre-School and Reception Teaching Assistant (35 hours) 

Term time only plus some Holiday Club days

A varied role based at both our Main School and Pre-School sites, working with different classes throught the week

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, organised and talented Teaching Assistant to work in a very successful and high achieving school. Relevant qualifications (ideally Level 3) and previous experience in a Primary School or Pre-School setting is essential. This varied role will predominantly involve working in our Reception, Pre-Reception and Nursery classes.

We are looking for someone who will:-

  • Be positive and adaptable, with the interest and ability to work in different parts of the school
  • Be creative, dedicated, enthusiastic and inspirational

  • Work under the direction and guidance of class teachers
  • Organise and lead intervention groups outside of the classroom
  • Be a team player within a happy, hard-working staff
  • Be willing to take on extra-curricular responsibilities (Before and After School Clubs are paid in addition)
  • Be willing to work a few days in our Holiday Club (this is paid in addition)
