Following the promotion of the post holder we have an exciting opportunity to appoint a permanent, full time Deputy Headteacher to help lead our ‘Outstanding’ two form entry Primary School.

We are looking for:

Someone who is excited to work with the Headteacher to lead the school
Someone who has substantial senior leadership experience
A reflective leader that uses their initiative and actively promotes inspirational teaching and learning practices across the school
A person who is able to motivate staff and pupils
Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and National Curriculum
Proven knowledge of teaching writing, maths and reading, resulting in excellent achievement for all groups of children
A person who has excellent knowledge of foundation subjects and understands how to assess each subject
A leader who has the ability to design an exciting, inspiring curriculum that promotes a love of learning curriculum
Ability to analyse data and identify strengths and areas for improvement
A leader who can coach and lead School Direct students as part of CASTTA
An excellent team player with the ability to enthuse and motivate
Someone who has great communication skills with parents, governors and staff
Enthusiasm, commitment and a sense of humour!
