We are looking to appoint a highly skilled, enthusiastic and supportive Teaching Assistant to provide individual support for a pupil in Reception. Experience of working with children who require a differentiated curriculum and sensory/ physical exercise programmes would be beneficial. You will be required to work closely with the class teacher to maximise curriculum access for the pupil by preparing practical, relevant learning experiences, and supporting with the acquisition of early phonics. We encourage independence in all of our pupils so you will also be expected to work with other pupils both in and outside of the classroom setting. You must have a good standard of English and Maths and be able to communicate effectively with adults and children. You will be expected to use your initiative and to contribute your ideas. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, is resilient, works well as part of a team and has a good sense of humour!

This is a part time post, for 10 hours per week, to be worked from 1.15pm - 3.15pm daily. (Term time only).

This post is temporary until 20th July 2021 in the first instance, although there is the possibility of it being extended.
