CRESSEY COLLEGE - Croydon
Part of Horizon Care & Education Group
We are a growing school, so we urgently want to recruit more Teaching Assistants to work in small classes in the Croydon, Wimbledon and Sanderstead areas.
We also want TAs to work 1:1 with off-site students. Previous teaching experience is very welcome but is not essential. Newcomers are also very welcome.
About Cressey We are a multi-site school for students (5-19) with social, emotional and attachment difficulties, with additional complex needs and / or particularly challenging behaviour. At Cressey we succeed where previous schools have been unable to; and we never give up on a student.
Our approach is nurture-based, with positive management of behaviour; and we have very small classes (max 5 students), with more staff than students. This enables us to achieve positive outcomes, in spite of challenging behaviour and complex needs. There is a strong focus on improving literacy and numeracy, and on developing personal and social skills.
Joining the Cressey team means you may have some difficult days, but if you are the right person for us, you'll love it - because at Cressey we transform children's lives - and that's immensely satisfying.
What we offer for TAs at Cressey
All applicants will be subject to pre-employment vetting checks including referencing and an Enhanced DBS check to safeguard the welfare of our children.
We will interview all applicants who whose applications meet the required criteria, and we will contact you without delay to arrange an interview date. There is no application deadline because we recruit continually, to support our continual growth.
For more information you can visit the Cressey College website, which offers comprehensive information about Cressey’s approach. Or contact email@example.com
