We are looking to recruit a professional and highly efficient individual to join our school administration team, based in our newly refurbished school office. The role will function as a personal assistant to members of the Senior Leadership Team, most regularly to the Headteacher and Deputy Headteachers. Additionally, the role will function as a core member of the school administration team, which consists of five members, two of which are based in the school office alongside this role. The candidate needs to be a team player, quick learner and flexible in their approach.

The school office is a very busy environment, accommodating over 660 pupils, including our on-site nursery and therefore the post holder must be able to effectively juggle multiple tasks. No two days are the same, and the administration team can expect to be managing a myriad of responsibilities and requests regularly. Deadlines require prompt action and the daily tasks of the role require a strong attention to detail.

With the days being so busy and varied, the post holder must show initiative, drive and commitment to ongoing improvement, both with their professional competence and the systems for which they are responsible at school. They should be a creative problem solver, with the ability to think ahead and communicate in a timely and effective manner and be able to work under pressure.

As the post holder interacts with pupils, staff, parents and other third parties to the school daily, the post holder needs to have excellent spoken and written communication skills, with an ability to build and form strong, positive working relationships with all.

Due to the sensitive nature of the role, the post holder must be able to demonstrate attributes of discretion, tact and diplomacy. Furthermore, they must be completely loyal and trustworthy in providing service to the Senior Leadership Team.
