River Mill is looking to recruit a Breakfast and After School club Manager to join our new primary school in Dartford.

We have a very strong teaching team, are committed to CPD, have a whole school focus on well-being and excellent capacity for support.

The salary will be Kent Range 7 £22,581-£25,564   (full time equivalent £12,147)

Candidates most suited to the post will have:

  • Recognised qualification at least to NVQ level 3 or above, and preferably experience in running a play scheme or similar out of school provision.
  • Some experience undertaking the administration involved in organising the provision and managing and delivering the service while it is in operation during Term.
  • Current experience of working with 4-11 year olds in a play or primary education environment or experience of working in a breakfast and after school club setting
  • Ability to work on own initiative and judgement and as part of a team
  • Effective communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with all members of the school community
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude to play.
  • A commitment to undertake training and continuous professional development.
  • A positive, friendly and upbeat personality
  • Knowledge of child protection/safeguarding
  • Individuals who are proactive and flexible

River Mill is a new free school that has opened in the centre of Dartford. We are part of Connect Schools Academy Trust, which is a MAT with six like-minded schools in Dartford, Tonbridge and Bromley. We will be Combining with Compass Academy Trust from September 2024. This enables us to deliver highly effective CPD opportunities and structure for professional development and career progression.
