Cecil Road have an exciting opportunity to employ an energetic and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our vibrant EYFS team.  You will be working with the SENCo, Reception teachers and Teaching Assistants to support a small group of SEN children in a Nuture group and in class.  We are passionate about providing the children with the rich learning experiences as a foundation for life-long learning.

This is a part-time role (31 hours weekly, working 5 days a week, 8.30am-3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am - 2.00pm on a Friday) working with Reception and Year 1 children. 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for working with SEN children.
  • Has a knowledge of ASD and Speech and Language needs would be beneficial.
  • Has a good awareness of children's early development, making learning fun, creative and working on small step progress.
  • Is able to support Teaching Assistants to work alongside the children.
  • Has NVQ Level 3/4 Teaching Assistant qualifications.
