We are looking for a dynamic, creative, inspirational and enthusiastic year 1 teacher to join our happy and supportive team. We can offer you the opportunity of working in a delightful school with wonderful children.

Applications are sought from suitably experienced teachers trained to teach 4 -7 years age range.  

We are looking for that special person who can demonstrate excellent communication skills, has a sense of humour, has a commitment to raising standards and has the energy and determination to make a difference. You will be joining a caring and friendly team who love to laugh lots and eat plenty of chocolate cake! We are one big happy extended family, so come and join the fun :)

This position will be temporary to cover maternity leave but there is a possibility of being extended further.  We are looking for either an April or September start.

Informal visits are strongly encouraged and recommended.

Tours dates are Tuesday 19th at 9.30am, Thursday 21st at 9.30am, Friday 22nd at 1.30pm and Monday 25th  January 2021 at 3.30pm.  Please call the school office to book a video call as tours are not possible during the current pandemic

Observations in own schools will be Tuesday 2nd and Wednesday 3rd February 2021 - also to be rearranged.

Westmeads Community Infant School is situated in the heart of Whitstable. We have up to 180 pupils in six classes. We have a dynamic team, supportive parents and governors and strong community links.
