Ifield School are seeking to appoint a full-time Lead Speech and Language Therapist from January 2021. 

We are looking for somebody with drive and enthusiasm to join our friendly, professional, positive and forward looking school. The successful candidate will be a qualified and experienced Speech and Language Therapist.  This is a great opportunity to develop your career by building on your current success.

Ifield School is an outstanding school with a commitment to developing communication through a Total Communication approach for pupils and an in-depth training programme for all staff. There may be opportunities for developing our outreach work with mainstream schools in and around Gravesend, including our partner school in the Cedar Federation.

The Speech and Language Therapy team is an integral part of our school and provides the following services:

  • Training to staff and families
  • Resources to support our total communication approach
  • Outreach support
  • Implementation of speech and language therapy with pupils from early years to learners at our LINK19 provision.

The successful applicant must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and be a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
