Claremont Primary School has an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an outstanding qualified teacher to tutor pupils and support the recovery curriculum in writing. The skilled and talented teacher will support individuals or small groups to develop and enhance their writing skills including narrative and non-fiction, and consider the language and punctuation they use within it.

The teacher will be experienced in planning a scheme of work that provides personalised interventions which will assist and accelerate progress, and help our pupils retain and extend their potential following lockdown.

The position is for 10.4 hours a week; this would ideally be across 4 afternoons a week, however there is flexibility to work the hours across the week.

The role is fixed term from 23rd /30th November 2020 to 6th June 2021 as the position is linked to Catch Up funding.
