We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Girls PE to join the department from January 2021. The successful candidate will be passionate about physical activity and sport for all and will have a range of teaching techniques and strategies that will inspire and motivate all pupils. You will plan and deliver GCSE PE and core PE lessons effectively, monitoring the progress and development of pupils, displaying and excellent understanding of Assessment for Learning.  You will become an integral member of the department and contribute to the continuous development of our extra-curricular programme. You will be committed, reliable and learning focused, with have high expectations of attitude and behaviour.  Experience teaching Netball and Football would be desirable but not essential.

The post offers outstanding opportunities for continuous personal and professional development for a highly motivated and ambitious teacher looking for career advancement.  This is an exciting opportunity for an NQT or experienced teacher.  For suitable candidates, this role will offer a range of CPD opportunities to develop within the Physical Education Department and/or within the school.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Have Qualified Teacher Status
  • The ability to teach PE to KS3 and KS4
  • Possess recent, relevant teaching experience
