We have a vacancy for an energetic and proactive lower Key Stage 2 class teacher who would like to be part of an enthusiastic, committed and successful team.

Ightham Primary School received a full Ofsted inspection in March 2020 and the school was graded as Outstanding in all areas. The report noted that: "Pupils behaviour is impeccable. Parents are extremely positive about the school. Leaders ensure that all staff receive training to become experts in their field."

  • A strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 Curriculum.
  • A reflective, caring practitioner who maintains very high expectations.

Ightham Primary School is a happy and friendly village primary school with an active school community and extremely supportive parents. We are a one form entry primary school with a supportive, dedicated and experienced teaching team. We have seven classrooms, an ICT Suite, library, hall with fixed apparatus, and designated gardening area. We are fortunate to be situated within the second largest woodland primary school setting in Kent and have three playgrounds.
