Drapers Mills Primary Academy in Margate is on an exciting journey. We are looking to add to our already successful team who have taken the school out of Special Measures to become a Good school with outstanding features (Ofsted, 2018). We are now heading towards the world of ‘Good and Beyond’ and are looking for a teacher who would like to join us on our travels.

Drapers Mills Primary Academy is part of the Kemnal Academies Trust, which is one of the largest multi-academy trusts in the south of England; with over 40 primary and secondary schools in the TKAT family. This enables the school to offer excellent CPD and training opportunities and uses a highly effective coaching/mentoring approach to develop its staff. We believe in a culture of partnering for performance and work closely with other TKAT academies and Thanet schools.


We are looking for an effective and enthusiastic teacher to support our excellent teaching staff to raise standards by taking small groups, booster sessions and 1:1 catch up sessions for children disadvantaged by the Covid-19 pandemic and who may fall have 'fallen behind'.  

 The successful candidate will :-
