We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled, highly motivated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to work 1:1 to support a child with a number of complex needs.

This will initially be a fixed term contract until August 2021.

With the support of the SENCO and class teacher, your role will be to assist in promoting the learning and personal development of the pupil to whom you are assigned, to enable them to make best use of the educational opportunities available to them, fulfilling their potential and achieving excellence.

Recent experience working as a 1:1 support assistant or teaching assistant, in particular the planning and delivery of individual intervention programmes, is preferable together with any relevant experience working with children. An ability to build relationships, have a positive outlook and a willingness to try different approaches is essential.

Hours of work will be 12 noon to 3:15pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.
