Facilities Assistant

25 hours per week (5 hrs per day – Monday to Friday)

Term time only - 39 wks per year (including Staff Development Days)

Thamesview Pay Scale Range 6, Point 17 – Point 20

£20,585 - £22,469 per annum

Pro rata to £11,963.16 to £13,058.04 per annum

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated member of staff to work closely with our Business Manager to provide key administrative and practical support with all aspects of facilities management across the school. This is a brand new role as a result of school expansion that presents an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to develop their career in managing maintenance and overseeing H&S in a supportive school environment. This role may have the potential to develop further and increase its hours in future.

 

The ideal applicant should have…

  • A confident and professional attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of dealing with health and safety legislation and procedures and aspects of building maintenance.
  • A high level of IT literacy with experience of Microsoft packages.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise own workload, and adhere to deadlines.
  • Ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
  • A proactive attitude and ability to work on their own initiative.
