New Line Learning Academy is an exciting school, which was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in its November 2019 inspection and are now looking to appoint a Teacher of Geography on a full time, permanent basis.  We are looking for someone that can show real passion for the subject and will inspire our young people helping them to achieve their highest potential and be a valued addition to our well-established team.

The post offers outstanding opportunities for continuous personal and professional development for a highly motivated and ambitious teacher looking for career advancement.  This is an exciting opportunity for an NQT or experienced teacher.  

We are seeking to appoint a Geography specialist, who would be able to deliver a strong Geography curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4. The Geography Department follows the AQA specification for GCSE.

The successful candidate will:

  • Possess strong subject knowledge
  • Be part of a forward-thinking department
  • Be a team player and have the ability to be flexible
  • Be a reflective practitioner  
  • Contribute to raising standards of student attainment
  • They may also be required to teach other humanities subjects as a discretionary subject on their timetable.
  • Have Qualified Teacher Status
  • The ability to teach Geography to KS3 and KS4
  • Possess recent, relevant teaching experience
