As a Teacher you will:

 

  • Act as a role model and inspire pupils and colleagues alike in continuing to strive for outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Share the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Effectively plan lessons and sequences of lessons to meet pupils’ individual learning needs, assessing children’s strengths and determine their next steps in learning

 

To be successful in this role you will:

 

  • Be a suitably qualified teacher.
  • Have excellent teaching skills and the ability to differentiate curriculum provision.
  • Have knowledge and experience of teaching pupils by providing a differentiated curriculum provision to meet individual needs.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to empathise with children and parents from a variety of social backgrounds.

 

Danecourt is a Good Special School with Outstanding features. The school caters for pupils primary aged children with severe learning difficulties, many of whom have autistic spectrum disorder. The children attending Danecourt are happy, enthusiastic and love coming to school.
