We have a vacancy for a Cleaner to join our friendly site team for 15 hours per week from late August 2020, to cover the maternity leave of our existing cleaner.
The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining areas of this Special School to ensure they are kept in a clean, hygienic and safe condition. You will be employed on Kent Pay Range 3 (approx £9.35 per hour) pro-rata, and will be required to work for three hours per day, Monday to Friday, 6.00am to 9.00am, during term-time plus four weeks during the school holidays.
Applicants will be reliable, flexible, trustworthy and expected to have experience of cleaning to a high standard and be confident in the use of relevant cleaning equipment. You will also need to be able to work within set routines and to form effective working relationships with colleagues and other members of staff.
It is essential that you understand and are able to apply health and safety procedures relevant to the job.
The successful candidate will also require good everyday communication skills and written and numeracy skills appropriate to the role.
