We are looking to appoint two, one to one Learning Support Assistants for 30 hours per week to support two children joining our school in Reception and Year 1 this September. Both children have ASD and moderate learning difficulties.

 

The successful candidate will need to have an understanding of using PECs, be able to deliver a speech and language care plan and have some understanding of supporting children with sensory needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a professional attitude; a real desire to put the children’s needs first and have the ability to work well in a team. The hours of work are for 5 days a week, starting at 8:15am and finishing at 3:15pm. The hours and pattern of work is subject to change due to the business needs of the school.  The post is linked to the needs of the child and will cease if the child moves from the school or the child’s needs change.
