Nursery Lead/Nursery Teacher

Unqualified Teacher - Salary £17,681-£19,738 (depending on experience)

We are seeking someone passionate about EYFS, with the skills and experience to lead one of our two nursery settings.  Perhaps  you have lots of experience in Early Years?  Maybe you have obtained qualifications linked to EYFS or education?  Your experiences may be linked to school or nurseries but must be around creating child centred provision.  It is vital that you have a desire for the best for children and that you are able to lead either our 15 hour or 30 hour setting, with support from our Senior Leadership Team.

The role (will include):

  • Being the lead professional for either our 15 or 30 hour setting
  • As teacher status, directed and non directed hours
  • Planning and assessment
  • Working closely with the other nursery setting and our 3 reception classes
  • Professional development including internal and external courses
  • Supporting all aspects of the school’s work

The person (must have): 

  • A strong background linked to EYFS
  • Desire and ability to lead a nursery setting independently
  • Desire and ability to plan provision
  • Ability to collaborate with others
  • Be able to lead a small team of support staff
  • The desire to achieve the very best for all children in our provision, 
  • Strong commitment to raising pupil achievement Strong commitment to raising pupil achievement through focus on learning
  • Be able to motivate and inspire children and colleagues
