An exciting opportunity for an efficient, well organised candidate to join the team at St Michael’s has become available. The role will involve supporting the leadership work of the Head and providing support to the Governing Body.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both orally and on paper, work well under pressure and enjoy all aspects of organisational and administrative work. He or she will read people well, be professional in person and on the phone, be well organised, flexible, reliable, resilient and discreet.

The successful applicant will have advanced skills in Excel, Word and Publication software and be willing to be trained on the school’s information management system (SIMS).

Experience of working as a Secretary / Personal Assistant is essential and within a school would be an asset.

St Michael's Prep School is a co-educational day school, meeting all the required standards. We were additionally awarded ‘significant strength’ in relation to pupil leadership. as part of our most recent ISI inspection in May 2024.

We have recently celebrated our 150th anniversary and provide a wonderful learning environment to approximately 460 children aged 2 to 13, enjoying a beautiful location, overlooking 100 acres of land.
