The Headteacher is seeking to appoint a KS2 Class Teacher for the full academic year, possibly longer. This would suit an NQT or experienced teacher.

The school had its last Ofsted Inspection in June 2019 and is rated Good. Our staff and governors are hard-working, caring, supportive and friendly and the children are well behaved.  With our church being on the school site we are building strong links with our local community. Our school motto is ‘Live, Love and Learn’. Children are encouraged to fulfil their potential through a creative curriculum that meets the needs of all pupils, develops independent and enquiry-based learning skills and offers appropriate challenges so that they achieve the highest possible standards in all areas of their lives.

The successful candidate will:

  • have a good knowledge and understanding of the Primary Curriculum and the end of Key Stage 2 expectations;
  • be an outstanding classroom practitioner and exceptional role model; passionate in developing high standards and expectations for all pupils;
  • have ambition, enthusiasm, resilience and the ability to inspire and motivate others;
  • work as part of a team and be committed to ensuring high expectations for pupils;
  • take a full and active role in all aspects of school life and passionately promote a clear child-centred vision;
