We wish to appoint an outstanding, dedicated and highly motivated teacher with a high level of experience in additional education needs. Ideally you will hold the National Award for SEN Co-ordination or have relevant experience in inclusion. The salary would include an additional SEN allowance.

This post is a non- class based leadership role and part time, ideally 0.6 (although there is flexibility with regard to how the days can be made up) The post would be to start in September.

You will have overall responsibility for leading and managing SEN across the school. You will need to have experience in working with parents, specialists and other outside agencies. This will include experience in filling in SEN forms i.e. EHCPs. You will need to be able to offer support for staff on class and provision maps and be able to carry out analysis of data for various groups of children.

You will be well supported by a group of SENCOs and professionals that work in collaboration with our school on the Island.

Our children are highly motivated and we offer a broad, rich curriculum and we have high expectations for achievement, behaviour, attitudes and attendance.

You would be joining a fabulous experienced team which has a number of highly trained teaching assistants and well-being managers.
