We provide a broad, balanced and interesting curriculum that is differentiated to meet the needs of all children which enables children to develop their full potential in all areas of learning this is delivered through Foundation Stage curriculum and HighScope. We are seeking a dynamic Early Years teacher for September 2020 to join our successful team. We welcome applicants who have a minimum of at least 2 years experience teaching the EYFS.

  • An individual who is committed to the emotional well-being and safeguarding of all our children 
  • Makes learning fun and engaging 
  • Has a track record of raising achievement 
  • Demonstrates initiative and can inspire and lead others 
  • Is an excellent, engaging communicator who will develop strong relationships with children, parents and the wider community

Information about the school

Northfleet Nursery School has been graded Outstanding 5 consecutive times and is the only stand–alone maintained Nursery School funded by Kent County Council. We have a school PAN of 93 and take admissions from the local community in Northfleet and the surrounding area. The nursery uses the High/Scope approach which actively involves the children in exploring and learning about things that are important to children in the early years.
