Temporary Contract from September 2020

We are looking for a friendly, inspiring and well motivated teacher to join our brilliant KS1 team with effect from September 2020. Applications are welcome from all qualified teachers, ideally with at least 1 year of experience.

We are looking for someone that shares our ethos of growing and learning together, with the passion, creativity and energy to deliver a stimulating curriculum for our children that is both engaging, challenging and fun.

Ideally, you will have outstanding experience of teaching in KS1 or Early Years and a clear understanding of how to support and nurture the development of young children. Proven experience of teaching synthetic phonics is essential as is the ability to enhance children's learning and development through both teacher directed sessions and child initiated activities in order to make informed observations which will identify next steps.

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic teacher who is able to nurture and inspire our children, and provide them with every opportunity to develop their full potential.

Tucked safely away on the Godinton Park Estate, its only when you step within the school gate that you can fully appreciate the school’s privileged outside space.

Our school grounds are both extensive and beautiful, stretching around the entire building and providing a wonderful natural backdrop. Children at Godinton benefit from vast playing fields, adventure play areas, two playgrounds and a thriving wildlife garden and environmental area. A broad area of woodland, also within the grounds, provides an inspiring space for curriculum enrichment, as a stimulus for poetry or creative writing or as the location for scientific nature trails.
