We understand that these are unprecedented times and that it is difficult for everyone. However, we are still recruiting and can assure you that we will need Teaching Assistants in future due to an increase in pupil numbers. Therefore, if you are interested in applying we would urge you to do so. While we may be unable to hold face-to-face interviews we would be able to do this remotely.

Inspirational Teaching Assistants required at this very special school. We are looking for Teaching Assistants to join us.

Are you adaptable and able to bring out the best in our pupils with special talents, aged 4 – 19, with severe, profound or complex needs?

We require Teaching Assistants to join our "Outstanding" school. We are looking for drive, enthusiasm and potential to join our friendly, professional, positive and forward looking school. This is a great opportunity to develop your career by building on your current success. The working hours are 8.30-3.30, Monday to Friday, term time only (we cannot be flexible with this). We have career paths for our Teaching Assistants. As a large special school we have a history of promoting our TA's to Senior TA's to HLTA's. For those that have a degree or working towards a degree we have a career path to becoming a Teacher. We have Teachers who started with us as TA's.

Successful candidates will either be experienced and successful Teaching Assistants who enjoy team working and taking responsibility or have worked in a Special Needs or child based environment. Alternatively you may have a passion for special needs and looking for your first opportunity. You will benefit from opportunities for further professional development and career progression as we value and support staff in all aspects of school life. The successful candidate will also have a strong commitment to inclusive principles and be committed to safeguarding children and young people.

Roles can be based at any of our sites - Loose, Allington or Snodland.

Our Loose site caters for pupils age 2-19 with a range of needs. At Snodland we have 140 KS3/4 and sixth form pupils. We also have 30 pupils across KS1/2 at Palace Wood Primary School in Allington.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a class-based assessment prior to being invited to attend an interview.
