We are looking to appoint a part time cleaner to join our premises team.

The hours of work are 11 am- 2 pm daily term time only.  Although there will be a need for overtime at key times of the year and during planned projects.

Have you a ‘can do’ approach? Be willing to contribute ideas and solutions to problems?

Can you act on your own initiative, dealing with any unexpected problems that may arise?

Have you a thorough knowledge of related Health & Safety Regulations, including COSHH and Risk Assessment and how they apply in a school environment?

If so then this might be the perfect job for you.

Shears Green Infant School is part of the Hornchurch Academy Trust which is a family of six schools based in both the London Borough of Havering and Kent.

It is a large Infant school in Northfleet just off of the A2. We have lovely outdoor learning areas including our Reception outside learning area, Year 1 outside learning area and large forest school area.

As a feeder school to Shears Green Junior School, strong relationships and transition arrangements ensure children are able to successfully move to the next stage of their education journey.

Starting in EYFS, school ensures children are settled to succeed by delivering a high quality and inclusive education offer within a nurturing environment. We aim to provide the best start in life and work in close partnership with parents, carers and community to achieve high quality outcomes and personal development.
