Kent Scheme Salaries Range 4 : £17,498-£18,611 per annum pro rata
(equating to £14,813-£15,755 per annum)
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and efficient colleague to join our team of committed professionals. The successful candidate will provide a range of administrative support along with some reception and medical room duties support to the school. This post could suit a job share covering 2-3 days and individual applications are welcomed with an indication of preference for 2 or 3 days, working 8.30am to 4.30pm.
Previous administration experience is essential, front desk/switchboard experience is highly desirable and experience of working in a school environment would be an advantage. Strong IT skills are also essential and knowledge of SIMS (Schools Information Management System) is desirable although not essential. The successful applicant will act as a first aider at work and supervise the Student Hatch and Medical Room. You should be well presented and have a confident, helpful and professional telephone manner.
Maidstone Grammar School for Girls is a very successful selective girls’ school of 1250 students with a mixed Sixth Form of approximately 320. Since July 2019 we have been appointed by the Department for Education as a Computing Hub in recognition of the expertise the school has evidenced in Computing Education, and will take a lead in training teachers across the south east in the delivery of Computing.
